Greetings, Beekeepers! Welcome to Bee Season 2022! We are very glad to have you here.
We are all sold out of bees for 2022. Thank you so much for your support.
Yes, this is the page where you can purchase 3# package bees. But before the website can complete your bee purchase above, you should know:
1) ***LIVE HONEYBEES ARE A NON-REFUNDABLE PURCHASE.*** Please initial this statement above to confirm your understanding.
2) When you type your name in the white field above, you are certifying that you have ACCEPTED and that you AGREE TO our Bee Order Policies.
And what ARE those policies? We are SOOOO glad you asked! Here they are:
If you would like to download these policies in pdf format, click here.
OK. I'm glad that's all cleared up. And now... About those beautiful bees for sale:
Gold Star Honeybees are raised treatment-free. What does that mean? It means no chemical treatments.
They are 3-pound packages with naturally mated, unmarked queens. The queen ships in a small cage of her own, inside the package, along with several attendant bees.
They are raised on small-cell foundation, making them ideal for all hive types where the bees will make their own wax. They are just fine for all other hive types too.
They are "mutt bees" - a very hardy mix of Russian, Italian, and Carniolan genetics.
They are "four season bees" - acclimated to a climate with four seasons and winter hardy!
They are raised in northern Georgia, Virginia, Maryland and the great state of Tennessee. They will ship to you from Maryland.
The ship dates are shown as "Week of ..." Typically the bees will get into the mailstream on Tuesday of the ship week. The bees are shipped directly to your local post office from the beeyard via USPS Priority Mail insured.
We send you a schedule confirmation email about 7-10 days ahead of your shipping date. This email will confirm that shipping for your week is on schedule.
You will receive a tracking number when the shipping label is created, several days before the bees actually get delivered to the post office.
Once the bees begin to move through the system, the tracking information will then become active.
